چکیده
This review aimed to analyze the impact of whole-body-vibration (WBV) training on strength, power, muscle endurance, functional lower-extremity flexibility (FLEF), and strength (FLES) in older adults evaluate effectiveness different WBV periods. Electronic searches were conducted using four databases. The methodological quality level evidence selected articles assessed by two reviewers. Standardized mean differences (SMD) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) calculated. Nineteen studies included (474 participants; age 74.27 years). Strength was measured isokinetic, isometric, or isotonic contraction an isokinetic dynamometer weight-training machines. Power assessment task that required maximal force a short period time. Endurance evaluated repetition tasks, FLEF chair stand-and-reach reach tests, FLES sit-to-stand test. Meta-analysis showed had significant effects (SMD = .54; CIs .40, .67), power .58; .28, .89), endurance .82; .36, 1.29), .31; .06, .55), -.75; -1.18, -.33). Our findings suggest 1) improves overall function adults, especially endurance; 2) minimum 8 weeks is recommended improve muscular power; 3) longer more effective at improving but not FLES. Therefore, strongly various parameters adults.

Whole body vibration (WBV) is a contemporary treatment modality that holds promise as an exercise training method in health–compromised individuals. A growing number of studies on individuals with Parkinson Disease are examining whether WBV improves balance and functional mobility. However, interpreting WBV studies is challenging since there is variability in the manner in which WBV interventio...
